Writing to Heal Attachment Wounds: Recover your Authentic Self
This 6-session, transformational journey through time is an invitation to recover your authentic self, in a supported and therapeutic environment of non-judgment, care, and connection.
In this live online workshop, you’ll be guided in somatic mindfulness practices, reflection, grief work, and writing prompts to support you in welcoming yourself, reconnecting with your inner child, and soothing your wounded parts. Our focus will be on identifying our core experiences and how they shaped our sense of belonging in the world. Through writing and meditation we will offer ourselves the care we did not get to have when we were young and put new possibilities on the map for our relationships to ourselves and others.

Slow down, care for your nervous system, and bring your authentic self back to life. Escape the hustle, drama, and noise of daily life and give yourself the gift of coming home to yourself in safety and connection with other heart-centered women. This retreat is an opportunity to rebuild your relationship with living in your body, reclaim your mental real estate, soothe your heartache, rest your nervous system, and resource yourself with mindfulness, interpersonal connection, and sensory awareness.
During this week together, we’ll cultivate skills for taking refuge in the present moment and embark upon a journey of loving awareness across our lifespan, making space to welcome all of our humanness. Along the way, we’ll invite acknowledgment of our collective wounding, reconnection with our divine feminine, retrieval of the fractured pieces of our souls, and new possibilities for how to relate to belonging in the world. We’ll dance, sing, paint, hike, meditate, write, and play together, as well as take time on our own to deepen into our personal experiences of being human.
Your journey will be facilitated by Dr. Cynthia Garner, certified mindfulness instructor, somatic psychotherapist, and host of the Welcome You Podcast.

Free Live Workshop: Get FIERCE!
When you are fierce, you don’t settle or bend, you roar. You don’t compromise or let people push at the edges of what makes you who you are. You keep your feet firmly planted beneath you and you dig deep and find that determination, grit, and resolve that it takes to protect your heart, the way a mama bear guards her cubs, the way a tiger stalks her prey.
In this workshop, you’ll learn about practices and somatic exercises from the book Fierce Boundaries that can help you:
-Break free from the cycle of abuse and generational trauma
-Reclaim your mental real estate and right to peace and safety
-Heal heartbreak and improve your relationship to yourself
-Come home to yourself and belong in your body
-Transform traumatic stress and reduce anxiety
-Manage overwhelm and decrease burnout

Day Long Mindfulness Retreat
This day of nourishing practices, reflection, and group psycho-education is designed for anyone who needs to slow down, rest, and care for themselves. Guided practices will include awareness of breath and body, mindful walking, working with difficult thoughts and feelings, gentle movement, nervous system regulation, and tending to our wounded parts. No previous experience with meditation is required.
Healing begins when you slow down and welcome yourself as you already are, without judgment, right here in the present moment. At the core of relational trauma is a deeply fractured relationship with ourselves. It is in doing the work of repairing this relationship that we can begin to heal this core wound - that of belonging in our own bodies.
